3C ICT is a shared service between Cambridge City Council, Huntingdonshire District Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council. The shared service was established in April 2016 to provide an efficient way of delivering ICT services across the three partner councils.

Our team of 70+ staff provide a range of services from digital development and integration.   They also provide server management and maintenance as well as standard desktop and business application support.

On a day-to-day basis, we manage and deliver all the IT systems and services needed by our partners and customers.

Our vision is to help our partners standardise, automate, integrate and optimise their IT systems to help them gain the best possible business benefit from their investment. This approach also helps them realise the combined economies of scale of working in a local government partnership.

Our certified staff manage the technical aspects of business programmes and project delivery following the PRINCE2 framework. However, we can also offer an agile approach for software development projects if this is how you prefer to work.

The services we provide include:

  • day-to-day customer support via the Service Desk
  • software and business applications support
  • network and infrastructure services
  • web and digital development
  • project management
  • spatial services including GIS, Land and Property Gazetteers and street naming and numbering
  • technical architecture
  • information governance.
